In this course of instruction, students will learn how to safely check their homes and effectively deal with threats should a home invasion occur. Additionally, students will learn their priority of threats and how to safely move throughout their house without putting their family at risk of friendly fire.

• Pros and cons of different weapons systems to utilize.

• Personal weapon retention

• How to properly give commands and control a threat until police arrive 

• How to take a weapon away from an attacker should you be unarmed

• When to turn on/off your lights

• When to use your flashlight or laser

• Muzzle striking

• How to minimize your exposure to unknown or potential threats

• How to develop a home invasion plan with your family depending on your own unique circumstances.
